The Robert and Janice McNair Educational Foundation is seeking applicants for an Administrative Assistant. This position will provide administrative support to the Foundation mentor and academic programs. The position will have a strong focus on developing processes and efficiencies to enhance organizational effectiveness.
The successful candidate will be someone who has the ability to be organized, methodical and efficient. Applicants must also have the ability and applicable experience in various software programs and demonstrate proficiency in mastering new technology.
Associate’s degree from an accredited community college preferred.
Five years of experience working in an office environment handling administrative and clerical duties.
Strong organization and time management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks with multiple priorities.
Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
Ability to maintain confidential or proprietary information.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications, email and Internet.
Working knowledge of the operation of all basic office equipment such as copiers, facsimile machines, shredder and postage meter
