The Robert and Janice McNair Educational Foundation is seeking applicants for a Postsecondary Success Specialist. This position will be responsible for the execution of a new research project designed to increase college persistence and completion for Rutherford County Schools’ graduates. The position will have a strong focus on building support networks on college campuses, providing navigation services to project participants and developing and implementing additional interventions that support college completion. The position will work with current Foundation programs and staff.
The successful candidate will be someone who has the ability to be creative and innovative in the development and implementation of multiple programs as well as possessing the ability to evaluate the success of the programs. Applicants must also have the ability and applicable experience in working with diverse professional and student populations in postsecondary environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited four-year university or college in Education or related field.
- Experience in developing programs and data collection/evaluation.
- Experience working with targeted student populations
- Experience working with college access programs preferred.
